Candle Safety

Due to their flame, candles, when not used correctly, can cause accidents, fires, injuries, etc.

To ensure we use our candles safely, we should:

Never light them near combustible materials such as gasoline, alcohol, or solvents.

Keep them away from flammable objects such as curtains, towels, sheets, and furniture.

Keep them out of reach of children and animals.

Keep them away from drafts.

Place them on suitable and stable holders to prevent falls and tipping.

Never leave them burning unattended and check that all candles are extinguished before leaving the house or going to sleep.

Do not leave the candle burning for more than 4 hours.
