Due to their flame, candles, when not used correctly, can cause accidents, fires, injuries, etc.
To ensure that we use our candles safely, we must:
Never light them near combustible materials such as petrol, alcohol or solvents.
Keep them away from flammable objects such as curtains, tablecloths, sheets and furniture.
Keep them out of reach of children and animals.
Keep them away from draughts.
Place them in appropriate and stable holders to prevent them from falling over.
Never leave them lit unsupervised and check that all candles are extinguished before leaving the house or going to sleep.
Do not leave the candle lit for more than 4 hours.
